This Red Grouper was caught just outside Stump Pass in Englewood Florida. South West Florida provides some of the finest Grouper fishing in the world. The upcoming cold fronts will have the fish migrating closer to shore. One of my favorite to target.

Water Front Real Estate Equals good Fishing


One of the best activities in South West Florida is the outstanding fishing. Any property located on salt water with access to the Gulf of Mexico provides fishing opportunities from the backyard and everywhere in between out to the Gulf. I'm posting a photo with this message from my last fishing adventure just outside Stump Pass in Englewood. Anyone interested in fishing my Real Estate Territory needs only ask and the trip is on the schedule. It's really the best way to see what South West Florida is all about. Short Sales

I need to vent my opinion of the term (Short Sale) being thrown around in today's market due to the mortgage industrie's 2004, 2005 lending practices and buyer speculation. The reality is short sales are a huge wast of time in a market that now has many bank owned properties available in the MLS and in their own foreclosure departments. I recently heard a buyer put in perspective. Making on offer on a short sale is like placing your hand in a hornets nest. Please if your interested in pursuing the short sale market read as much as you can about the subject before you make an offer. If your looking for a bang up deal in this market call me so I can point you in the right direction and avoid major head aches. Just Got Married

Hot Days of Summer


First I'll start off with the fishing report. Warm water in the Gulf of Mexico 80+ degrees this time of year brings the sharks in making them an easy catch. The mackerel have been around the outlets in large numbers due to huge amounts of bait everywhere. King fish and Cobia have been easy to find this summer just a mile or two off shore. I've posted a picture of my mortgage broker friend Mark with a nice King Fish.


On the business front can you say buyers market. The buyers I'm working with this summer have negotiated outstanding deals. Large inventories coupled with motivated sellers equal outstanding opportunity. If your a buyer and your being told to wait for a later date to make a purchase call me so I can explain what's happening in the Sarasota and Venice market.
